I called one of the local yarn shops to see if we could take our first class together. They have a two hour introductory class this weekend, but she is checking with the instructor to see if DD is old enough to join. She'll be doing the after-school class once a week starting in January. A different yarn shop has a set of four 2-hour classes from 7-9, which sounds like it would be really good, but it's just unrealistic to ask DH to handle all three kids and put them to bed four weeks in a row. Plus I'm on call one of those weeks. Just not going to happen! I figured I should actually show you how I'm wearing them today.&nbsp; Sorry about poor quality pics - the snow boots also mean I can't use my regular picture spot (that has natural light) since I don't want to track residual salt and sand into the bedroom, so i'm stuck taking photos in my poorly lit front hall.&nbsp; </p> <p>I'm just going to work today, so casual/snuggly is fine.&nbsp; Wearing my old BR Martin skinnies, which are too warm most of the time but which are perfect for 14F/-10C and snowing, my aran sweater, and the brown Sorels.&nbsp; My outerwear scarf has some brown tones in it so I hope it makes the brown boots look a little less out of place with my black coat and bright hat and mittens (red hat and green mittens are my nod to holiday dressing today, I guess!).&nbsp; </p> <p>handknit aran sweater, BR Martin skinnies, Sorel boots, Kenneth Cole coat, handknit scarf, mittens, and hat.&nbsp; </p> <p>ETA: Adding a couple of pics of the snow on my commute home, including a selfie&nbsp;of me in full-on yeti mode. &nbsp;;)</p>
