Excellent lecture and Q&amp;A, and the reception after, which entitled us to a glass of wine or a beer and then to stand in line to have our photo taken.&nbsp;</p> <p>DH is very talkative and immediately involved our speaker in a lively exchange about something and I didn't realize our photo was already being taken.&nbsp;</p> <p>Since this is a WIW, I did have on my J Crew black cashmere sweater and a red NM long red cardi bought from Last Call a few months ago. Oh, and my David Yurman necklace, which I haven't worn for a long time. I was disappointed it didn't show up better. It was a cold night and we had to park a couple of blocks away.&nbsp;</p> <p>DY is wearing an $80 leather jacket he bought at Costco. It's very nice. He's now lost 55 pounds, and I will do a male fashion post very soon. (We went shopping last weekend at Nordstrom and Brooks Brothers--he's thrilled with his new duds.) And he feels better than he has in a long time.&nbsp;</p> <p>Maybe we'll get another celebrity reception next year.&nbsp;</p> <p>Oh, and I didn't realize I have a turkey wattle neck on my right side. I can't see it in the mirror. </p>
