Emily and CuffCat-Thanks!  The tunic has been a workhorse piece both this season and last year too. El Cee-Thanks!  Black and grey have been my two go to colors for the camo jeans so far. Kellygirl-Thanks!  I think this patterened sweater in #5 works so well because it has black in it and a lot of it, so it bookends black boots nicely.  I am enjoying the booties with tunic look because I don't think it makes me look as short as when I sport a tunic with tall boots.  With the booties I can show more leg. :) Carambola-Thanks! Suz-Thanks!  Most of my sweaters are solids, so the colorblocked one in #5 really freshens up my sweater collection. Diane G-Thanks!  I am really enjoying ponchos right now, but the poncho must have arm movement.  Some of them are like a cape and I don't find that style easy to move around in. MuseumGal-Thanks!  Great observation, #3 is a lot of trends at once.  I think the bulky booties with the slimmer poncho is what's throwing off the look for me.  I've been eyeballing some shorter, brown booties that are sleeker to try in place of the black bulky one's.  Maybe it will be a softer look for me. I love how the sweater in 5 looks so different with different bottoms. That seems to be a true work horse for you. I will have to re-think my avoidance of patterned sweaters. Seems they can be more versatile (and interesting) than plain ones when colors are carefully considered!  I really like those tunic sweaters too. I will have to try mine with shorter boots--looks fresh! Comments/Suggestions are welcomed and thanks for looking!
