Angie, shades of chartreuse/lime/apple/moss are in fact my all-time favourite, but not worn much in recent years (I compensated in my kitchen decor). I bought the Hermes scarf from a local vintage picker who shops for film and tv costumes. He had kept it for himself but decided it wasn't his colour, and gave me a quite reasonable price for what seems to be an authentic piece. When I saw the cashmere sweater from Uniqlo that was also a no-brainer. I don't think I'll be buying anymore dark green any time soon (for me, it's usually been a compromise for a truly teal green), but the items I have get lots of use in winter (in fact, I'm wearing deep green velvet PJ's!) </p> <p>I also feel you on having to return twice a week - my teaching was like that last term too, so I actually played around to create 26 outfits ahead of time (to cover the whole semester). I hadn't bought any new winter clothes since 2020, and in that period pants styles changed definitively away from skinnies and my size (or tolerance for tight clothes!) also changed. Luckily my favourite colours also became very available, and I was able to put together a capsule that would provide some easy mix and match formula outfits, using a few scarves I already had plus one new Christmas gift as accessories. A couple of other new items (paisley shirt, cashmere sweater) also made their way in.<br />As mentioned in a couple of other threads/WIWs, I have been enjoying playing with my outfits lately. But some days I have no patience or interest, so having my simple blouse/pants/scarf fomula in place is helpful. Today I went for monochromatic green. Looking forward to my hair appointment tomorrow! </p>
