Works with skirts that are sparkly, or taffeta, or tulle or other "fancy" materials. I thought it looked shapeless and meh on the hanger, but the colour got my attention. After years of safe, neutrals like black, grey and white with the occasional green or blue, I have bought clothes with bold solid colours and bold pattern. It feels liberating and fun. :-)</p> <p>Sorry for being MIA. Life is crazy. :-\ </p> <p>Sorry for the poor lightning.</p> <p>- Yellow wool sweater with side split and high/low hem. I usually like bold colours more on the sour or cold side, but I didn't realize before I got home. I think the light in the shop could have affected my perception of the colour. Anyway, I love the shape of this sweater and its versatility. And it feels incredibly soft, cosy and warm.</p> <p>- Sparkling and flirty A line skirt with an elastic waist band. Only worn once or twice since I bought it a year ago. I've been struggling with how to dress it down, not feel like a Christmas tree and still feel pulled together.</p> <p>I do like this combo.</p> <p>- Black leather boots with buckles, very low heel</p> <p>- blue bag </p> <p>Thanks for looking.
