Mine is actually totally removable, so next time I wear a looser cropped top I will try the pants without it. (The waistband is definitely snug enough to keep the pants up.)</p> <p><b>Lisap: </b>These pants are casual only, I think, although would work for traveling (comfy) and going out while traveling (rare). It's a bit too relaxed for me to wear for interviewing/groups. Sometimes I wear denim, but a crisper look. I love denim and really enjoy experimenting with different cuts. These are way outside the norm for me, but they really spoke to me - a new (British) brand, found at a little shop in Portland. They are a really lightweight denim that has a ton of movement. They have a high waist with a belt tie, and deep pockets. </p> <p>In order to work with the higher waist, I have worn both a fitted tee (emphasizing the cinch and the belt) and a looser cropped sweater, which is what you see here. I picked up two cropped sweaters from Everlane and I really like how they are not too cropped. This one is cashmere. </p> <p>This may not be a look everyone will love but I am enjoying it today. Let me know your thoughts. </p>
