To be perfect those booties would need to be super current (pointy toed) and I'd get rid of the scarf...(I like even more minimalism but in fall I hate a bare neck, so scarves it is...or turtlenecks). But mostly it's about fit, ease, proportion. A sense of casual elegance and refinement. Angie epitomizes this, of course. They usually make these in whatever their suiting fabric of the season is. Except now they have changed the cut and fabrics and they don't work for me this year. I have been doing this (instead of air drying) and it has made the thing more wearable to me.
