I am glad the shorts meet approval. I think I might actually be getting to the point in the summer where I start losing the shock of seeing my legs again and start almost...almost liking them. Or at least making peace with them. A little self-tanning lotion and regular exercise helps a lot. ;-)</p> <p>Angie, thank you for asking! I am feeling great! Almost completely normal. The only time i feel remaining discomfort from my surgery is at the end of the day if i wear something with a waistband that rubs where my incisions are healing. I ran about a third of the way on my four-mile walk/run a couple of days ago, but it was also very warm and humid, so I did not to want to push myself too hard. I'm also swimming a mile every other day, and I think I'm about to sign up for my first mini-triathlon this fall, so I am back up to my usual active self. I wore it yesterday for open house at my studio and then to an impromptu sushi dinner date with my husband. This pic was taken late in the day and I was a little rumpled and windblown, but I had the thought to take a pic when I saw a suitable full length mirror. It's not an exciting outfit, but it's pretty typical of my hot weather style of late.</p> <p>The shorts are short (for me) but I've decided I'm more comfortable showing my imperfect legs and feeling cool than I was when I wore jeans in 95 degree, 90% humidity weather. I love this color-blocked top and wore it with black shorts last year but I think I am liking it even more with the white ones.
