I really love the white top! it looks fine to me over the black- in fact I enjoy the sublety of the softened colour. The top looks especially soft and pretty with those dainty flats, and the bermudas are perfect.<br /> The problem here is that the vest is shorter than the top - and more importantly , it is a stiff moto-style garment that overpowers the delicacy of the top and makes it look wrinkly and structureless, when both are put together. I think you will find that a soft "drapy" jacket that is at least as long as the top will look fine. This white top is really sheer so I wore a dark cami under to prevent "grinning". Wondering if that makes the top look "dirty"??? Also, as this vest is a bit shorter I picked a white top for layering to keep the contrast low for lengthening. Feedback and suggestions welcome.</p> <p>I just got this vest and love the cut/fit. In fact I bought 2 (end of season clearance), and I'm thinking about dyeing one a different color (a la Rae). Do I dare? What color? I am not a DIY-er so it scares me a little. We also have a front loader; can I even dye something in it?</p> <p>The beaded top is Calvin Klein Jeans, DKNY Jeans vest, Levi's 512 bermudas, Ecco skimmers, Michael Kors watch, Coach bag and mother of pearl circle earrings. </p>
