So it is a big jump to high school. She was bullied in her old school and I &nbsp;had to withdraw her and home school her for a while. But I feel she needs the social interaction now. We have been very lucky in DD's school the past four years and it has made the world of difference to the entire family. It would be too much to expect the same from high school, but at minimum we would like her to feel welcomed.&nbsp;</p> <p>Shannon, the sandals are comfy on the bottoms, but the tops are a bit loose, so I'm afraid I might go over on my ankle sometimes. And there might be rubbing, although truthfully it hasn't bothered me yet.&nbsp;On days when my feet swell a lot they might turn out to be life-savers! I guess I will see. In any case, they were very inexpensive, and I seem to be wearing them quite a lot. So in the end, even if they're not perfect, they haven't been a terrible choice.&nbsp;</p> <p>Re the jacket: Angie was right, as usual! I think the back pocket seams made it look to some Fabbers as if I had VPL! But in fact, the fit has been good for me, and although the stretching out was a bit of a surprise, it makes them more comfortable and as white jeans, I don't think they really should be skin tight. When I put them on first thing, they're snug, but not to the point where it is difficult to do them up or anything. Then I sit and move around, and the fabric gives. They tend not to stretch in the hip area for me (but I wear a belt anyway). They do stretch in the thighs, knees, and bum.&nbsp;</p> <p>I find them super comfortable and they also wash extremely well. The few times I've stained them, regular stain remover has worked easily on them. I wash and do not put in the dryer.&nbsp;</p> <p>Angie, I am glad to know that you approve of a few one-season wonders.
