One of my sons had to have surgery to remove a tumor entangled in this facial nerves. He looked like someone had cut off his head and sewn it back on as the incision went from behind one ear, across his neck to the other side at a diagonal. He was not good about using the anti-scar creme but it's not too noticeable now. I'll have to ask him what his "story" is because he had to have one. He looked like Frankenstein's monster.
