Almost all of these petite shirts I've acquired are button-ups, which seems a little odd for the shorter lengths. The burgundy shirt ends where my hips are widest, which is particularly obvious with white jeans. 3 makes it clear that the mirror over my bathroom sink is really slenderizing, but I do prefer the teal (is that the color?) shirt buttoned. But here's a question: A smaller friend passed on to me a number of petite blouses like this one, and I like them, especially because they're often in colors I haven't worn before. They fit well--except for the actual length. Is this length workable for me? Does it look okay like this over a longer shirt? </p>
