You are SO sweet! My hair color upkeep is more maintenance then the cut. Color is every 4 weeks, and cut is every 6. This time I went 7 weeks on the cut, which is doable when I go extra short, but 6 is usually perfect. I am actually liking it this 7th week, but letting it go longer would totally change the look and mean that in 6 or 7 more weeks, I'd have all kinds of weirdness happening. My (haircut) hairdresser is in down only once every 6 weeks, so I can't miss that window to get it done! It's funny too how other people don't see it as long as it is, but I have a lot of thick hair and it sure feels like a crazy amount when styling it. It will make the garment "wetter" because it is a surficant. I was so excited to come home and share the look with you... :-)</p> <p>Deborah: I will admit that on each item there were one or two tiny spots that were darker than the rest, but not noticeable by the general public. I just boiled a big pot of water, and let two tea bags steep for about 5-10 minutes. I did do a test swatch on some white curtain material and it turned a little darker than my clothes did. I just had to make sure it wouldn't turn brown. I wet the item of clothes, then put it in the pot and stirred it for a few seconds, took it out and rinsed it. I then did it with the pants but forgot to wet them first... I put both items in the washer and ran a rinse cycle with no soap and hung them to dry. That was it!</p> <p>Gryffin: My hair is a week overdue for a cut, and I can't stand hair in my face. I am looking forward to my cut tomorrow. I do also think the angle I took the photo from makes it look longer in front - it wasn't unbearable today at work.
