It reminds me of a dress my mother made in the 70s--white twill, sleeveless, with buttons up the front--which she called her "uniform," since she wore it a lot in the summer. No, I cannot get the dress on or off with the buttons buttoned. I had zero expectations but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived last week. The neckline is not as high up as shown on the model (I really dislike tight, high necklines in the summer) and the armholes are not too low (and maybe a different bra would work better). I ordered my usual dress size in a Tall since I knew the listed length would be too short for me.
