I think the leather pockets on the top, plus the on-trend footwear, make it really current. If it were a v-neck you would have enough skin to echo the shoes.  I really like the top, a lot. Or you could have just worn black shoes. But I'd also want a peep-toe or some openish. (BTW, sorry for the photo quality. Nothing like a workplace bathroom to kill the photo, but unfortunately I had zero light or time at home this morning and we gotta do what we gotta do.)   K.
