It is a big misconception&nbsp;that petite ladies have it easier than tall because they can "just" shorten things. It is of course&nbsp;about the overall proportions of the garment, not just the length, and that makes it hard for 'both' of&nbsp;us of the opposite heights.&nbsp;<br /><br />Thanks for the kind comment about the scarf. I admit to loving this one very much - and it comes as a&nbsp;surprise&nbsp;to me because the colours are odd not my usual. I wish it was longer, but that's no news, it's above the knee so I normally&nbsp;wear dark hose with it.&nbsp;<br />But, it has the pockets. Too much fun.</p> <p>I haven't had time&nbsp;to snap the photo at home&nbsp;before we left,&nbsp;but the&nbsp;b&amp;w tiles in the restroom of the cafe where we went reminded me to do it. They make a nice background I think.</p> <p>Photos (and testing the new editing buttons for numbered list): </p> <ol> <li>As it was cold I had a turtleneck and a scarf - with tiny splash of mint green, green being my nod to St. Patrick's.</li> <li>There is still snow outside and I wanted to catch a snowball that was thrown in my direction. Bad idea. My two guys&nbsp;thought is was funny.</li> <li>This is why I actually started a thread if I'm honest. I was looking at the kid's color scheme as we were walking home from the kindergarden today and I figured out that his wellies were perfect binding element of the colors he was wearing: navy, turquoise and yellow. He was patient enough to pose for me -&nbsp;and what a pose it is!</li> </ol>
