It's more dramatic from the back than the front.</p> <p>Angie, aha! &nbsp;*That*'s what's been bothering me about the fit! &nbsp;I couldn't imagine that they'd be big since I've been wearing the same size in Express's Editors and Columnists for about 12 years, but I think the more recent ones have been less consistent in sizing. I'm afraid if I sized down it would probably be too tight in the waist, so... hm. I'm well past the return date, but maybe I'll toss them in the dryer and see if they'll shrink a bit. I wore a new-ish pair of pants on Wednesday that I can't figure out if I like or not, and I'd appreciate opinions on the length. Pictures 2/3 are the original length, and 4-6 are with the hem folded under 1, 2, or 3 times.</p> <p>1. Monday: I love this drapey asymmetrical top. When I first got it, I couldn't quite figure out what to do with it (washing it helped... the drape part was a little too stiff before that), but it's growing into a favorite.</p> <p>2. Wednesday: Geo print blouse again, with charcoal ankle-length pants that I keep going back and forth on. I have a black pair as well; I bought them to update my otherwise-mostly-bootcut collection of dress pants, but I just haven't warmed up to the cut so far. I'm not sure if it'll just take time and acclimation, or a hemming, or if it's just not my preference.</p> <p>7. Thursday: One of my coworkers wore a black &amp; white stripe dress on Wednesday, so I was a day late this week. &nbsp;We've previously worn our stripe dresses on the same day, completely without planning... that's apparently how in-sync our team is! (She joked on Wednesday that she'd almost texted me the night before to coordinate.)</p> <p>8. Friday: I felt a little silly wearing a (not particularly spring-y) scarf on a 90 degree day, but office temperatures made it comfortable to wear inside. </p>
