Mona: Thanks! The lace top is from Banana Republic - I SO wish I could've had access to a BR shop here.

The pictures are collages made in Picasa, which is a good solution for finished outfits. The collages could easily be exported to Evernote, by the way. You can see my plan for next week here: https://www.evernote.com/shard.....481eae9b58

Ramya: You are so sweet - thank you:)

That's a very reasonable approach, JR. I totally agree on what you say about being the master of the plan, not the other way around. Planning helps me cut back on the time I need to get ready, leaving more time for breakfast and reading. But if I need to change anything, that's fine, too.

I pre-plan my wardrobe a few days in advance, but seeing as I have the same changeable weather problem, I don't feel obliged to take the outfits in order. If none of them match both the weather and activities of the day (both of which can change with very little notice), I just grab something else. The outfit remains in the closet for another time, because I hang them up together, ready to go. The plan is a servant to help us, not a master to be obeyed. I will change up accessories quite freely too, especially because I am still in experimenting mode. But at least I have something already put together, so I am not obliged to play and make decisions if I don't feel like it.

As for the outfits you wore, I think you did a wonderful job with all of them.

Haha, Jayne! The teacher look, you know... I'm actually looking for new specs, the ones I have tend to overwhelm my face. It isvery obvious when I tie back my hair. Thanks for the boost!

Thank you, Suz! The weather is always playing its own game in our climate, as in yours, I can tell!.I was in Montreal last year, and I loved every minute. The weather changed all the time just as in Norway, which was just fine, and there was a lot to see and do.

My wedges will be put to good use as soon as they are worn in a bit more around the house!

I can really identify with this, Ingunn. For me, planning really has to revolve around the weather and my actual activities. That's why packing for trips can be so nerve-wracking for me. How is one to anticipate the weather so far in advance?

You look terrific in all of these. I am sorry you didn't get to wear your fun wedges...but the Cons sort of make up for that at the end of the week!

Love #2 - looks like a perfect late summer outfit.

I made a plan for this week according to MaryK, but not everything turned out the way I thought. The weather is always a variable that changes quickly, so I had to dress warmer on Thursday, and cooler on Tuesday. Change of plans (more walking) made it necessary to swap shoes and bag on Friday. Still, having a plan made it easier to decide what to do, and I think it's okay that I changed the planned outfits quite a lot. This was a useful and fun exercise!

#1 Monday: I used the planned outfit, including shoes, bag and trench. Very functional.
#2 Tuesday: Changed the entire outfit because woolen trousers were way too warm that day. I also wore a denim jacket to be more casual.
#3 Wednesday: Entirely different outfit, mainly because I already had used the blouse on Tuesday. I wore the navy flats, not the orange wedges. I feel that I need to get a bit more used to them before i use them at work.
#4 Thursday: Entirely different. The weather wasn't good enough for skirt - or so I thought! I wore the snakeskin flats.
#5 Friday: Almost as planned except for shoes and bag. I liked it that way too, and because I walked in the city for many hours it was a good decision.

I appreciate any comments and advice as usual!
