It may be the favorite piece in the closet right now.<br /> I forgot about the "arm candy" as I've been wearing bangles a lot this summer with sleeveless things. The bracelets came from Ten Thousand Villages or the Rack.<br /> Carole, I wish you could see the scarf too. The photo doesn't do it justice. It consists of 3 different silk fabrics from old kimonos in shades of navy with different designs and textures sewn together and some small beads were added on the ends for just a hint of sparkle. I don't know if any of the designs were hand painted. And, yes, those MeToo flats are so comfortable.<br /> Deborah, lunch was fun. My friend and I had lots of catching up to do. We were celebrating my birthday a little late.<br /> Claire, I often try to fake a dress like this. Being short, a "column of color" almost always feels like a good base for an outfit, such as adding Angie's scarf-bag-bootie complement.<br /> Angie, Shiny...all of you...have me blushing with your lovely compliments. Navy Magaschoni top with silk front, cotton/cashmere knit sides and back.<br /> Skirt: Classiques Entier light navy pencil skirt from the Rack<br /> MeToo flats; handmade scarf from kimono fabrics from art show<br /> #3 shows EF cardi. The color matched some blossoms on the scarf but the color doesn't show in the close up. I used a silvery metallic satchel not shown.<br /> The scarf was tied in a hurry and fixed later. Your suggestions and comments are very appreciated. </p>
