Angie wrote about it on the blog ages ago, but it's relevant to Elizabeth P's capsule post where a number of us kept emphasizing how important thinking in terms of function (and weather, and silhouette) has been vs. thinking purely in terms of colour capsules.&nbsp;</p> <p>As for me, breaking it down into minute detail is the only way I have started figuring out how to get a handle on my wardrobe, and it's really the only way I rein myself in from crazy spending, too -- if an item isn't serving a need in a much-used category, then I am much more wary of laying out hard cash for it. Not to say I'll never do that, of course. Alas, I'm still a sucker for certain things.
