CASA stands for court appointed special advocate. I have two kids (siblings) who are in foster care. I just keep track of them and report to the judge twice a year how they are doing. It's a volunteer job. Kids are in foster care because their parents screwed up one way or another. These kids are damaged and need a lot of help. They have social workers, therapists, etc. I'm just an ordinary person reporting from that viewpoint. For court, we're not allowed to wear jeans. I liked Angie's post on wearing brown accents, so I kind of adapted it here, in two variations.</p> <p>For court: Lands' End fisherman top, navy wide leg chinos, cognac nubuck belt, Kork Ease sandals, vintage Coach bag.</p> <p>For the meeting: same as above except Kut Catherine BFs, and Bandolino sandals.</p> <p>What do you think? Does it look too dull, or do you like it? Please be honest. </p>
