The cut away jacket is so good on you. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-valentines-day-ensemble-x2#post-1778792 Wed, 15 Feb 2017 20:09:54 +0000 Diana 1778792@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Here are two outfits based on the Valentine's ensembles that Angie posted yesterday.&nbsp; (I can actually do the third version, with the skirt, too, but it's too cold right now for my red skirt.)&nbsp; </p> <p>1-3: Ruffles and Florals.&nbsp; I switched the ruffle and floral elements around, and paired a floral blouse with a ruffled peplum jacket.&nbsp; (The blouse does have some tiny ruffles as well, but they're not very obvious.)&nbsp; I also added an additional dose of floral (and bonus pattern mixing) with my big floral tote.&nbsp; My heart necklace (you can see it in #3) was not very visible, but I wanted to wear it for Valentine's day because it was a gift from my husband several years ago.&nbsp; <br />The floral blouse is a new purchase from J Crew's ongoing Liberty collab.&nbsp; I'm not a big wearer of buttondowns but I can't resist a Liberty print, especially when they're actually made of Liberty fabric (a lot of collabs just use the prints, but J Crew uses the actual fabric for the shirts at least, which is amazing).&nbsp; This one actually fits me better than my older J Crew Liberty shirt, because it's shorter.&nbsp; <br />(Free People jacket, J Crew Liberty shirt, Vince jeans, Born oxfords (replaced by snow boots when outdoors!), Kate Spade bag, Montblanc necklace)</p> <p>4-5: Stripes and Docs.&nbsp; It's still too icy/snowy on the sidewalks to wear sneakers, so I substituted my cherry Doc Martens.&nbsp; Paired with magenta blazer, b/w striped tee, and black skinnies.&nbsp; Plus the floral bag again. =) <br />(Tinley Road blazer, AT tee, CoH skinnies, Doc Marten boots, Kate Spade bag).&nbsp; </p> <p>Thanks Angie for the ensembles and inspiration! </p>
