Sometimes her color descriptions are spot on; sometimes I disagree. It’s nothing against her! Everyone’s eye for color—and descriptive words—is different. To me, copper is a rusty brown or rusty orange shade—even in lipstick. CT, to my eye, is in the range of a warm brick red or toasted red orange. (Makes me think of Rita Hayworth in the 1940s.) It’s on the warm side of dark autumn palette. It may even lean into true autumn.</p> <p>I love how Volupte Shine formula wears! The formula is considered an oil-gloss stick. And it feels like I’m applying lip oil for sure. It has a light fruity scent, which I don’t find intolerable or disagreeable. Anyway. It wears well. The oil gloss part doesn’t last too long. But it leaves a nice, and more importantly , even stain on my lips as it wears down. </p> <p>I really didn’t expect to replace it when it was gone. YSL is a pricey lipstick on a mom budget. (At least my budget ha!) But I just couldn’t resist replacing it and got a tube last week. I find the formula and color great for summer. Our doctor said if his eye was better with antibiotic drops after in 12-24 hr, it was bacterial. Tada! Bacterial. Bacterial is highly contagious until 24 hr after antibiotics. (Viral kiddo variety doesn’t usually spread to adults, funny enough.) (Using what I have!)<br /> Warm olive linen bomber jacket<br /> Cool green maxi dress<br /> Leopard booties<br /> Ornate belt for some waist definition </p> <p>For some cheeky fun I added this warm red lipstick, YSL Volupte Shine in Chili Tounique. </p> <p>The jacket doesn’t technically fit. But I wear it open and think it sneaks by. </p> <p>Skipped any extra jewelry. If it is pink eye I don’t want anything else to disinfect as Pink eye is uber contagious. I’m already wiping everything down with alcohol pads and have sequestered little man to the couch until we know what is going on. </p> <p>I feel good in this. The booties really make it for me. </p>
