I adore this colour on you! Simply beautiful to match your gorgeous face. I hope you wear it all the time.

I am truly no fashion expert however I'd love to see you try pairing this top with a long necklace to give you an vertical line along with a pair of ballet pumps.

Since I am a big fan of the long-over-slim look, I like this. On another note, as an IBCLC, I love doulas.

Thanks for the comments!

Kari - I reckon if this were in a lower waist it would be so cute!

I may try Manidipa's suggestion to flatten the belly somewhat... Thanks for those ideas Manidipa!

Kristen - It is super comfy and easy to wear!

Ornella - Firstly - Thank you! What a boost to my ego today! To answer your question, I wore this to work today. I have a very relaxed dress code at work and only work until midday, whereafter I go to my afternoon shift of Mom's taxi. I also have cupcakes to bake and decorate for my little baking biz - so I probably will just stay in this till my supper date tonight.

I see no reason to argue with the shoes at all!

As for the tunic, if I can happily buy bump-friendly clothes from regular lines, it does of course follow that some regular clothes must look bump-friendly. Empire lines have a particular propensity for this. So all you'd need to emphasize is the absence of bump by weighing it down where I can't possibly (flattening over the belly) --- in this case, a long string of beads or a pendant that sits low (below the waistband) might do it, I think, or a vest that pushes the waistline down. Both work visually by cutting the horizontal line apart and carrying the eye vertically.

I'd say yes to both questions, the concern around the tunic and ballet flats as better option. Where would you normally wear this outfit?

Still, what I noticed straight away and really like are the earrings that match the tunic, and also generally bring attention to your face. You are so beautiful and I love your haircut.

I think the shirt looks comfy and cozy and I love the color on you. I see lots of tunics out there that look like they could be maternity wear, actually.

Love the red lips, btw!

Doulahil, I think the problem is the gathering at the empire waist, as well as the height of the waist being directly under your bustline. I think that's what can steer it into the category of looking too much like maternity wear. If it had less gathering and hit at your natural waist instead, I feel like the tunic would not look as much like a maternity piece. Does that make sense?

I love this grey tunic, so comfy! My only concern is that I picked it up from a maternity range. Does it look like maternity wear?

And I don't think the shoes work, but I was a little out of options. I think ballet pumps would work better - what do you think?
