Your new watch is gorgeous. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-trying-to-beat-that-summer-slog#post-1948330 Wed, 15 Aug 2018 17:52:19 +0000 Diana 1948330@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Deep summer is my least favorite time of year here. &nbsp;The heat and humidity (and conversely freezing AC at work) make it very hard to get excited about getting dressed. &nbsp;Nevertheless, one still has to get dressed every day, so here are some outfits from the last month or so, some more exciting than others.</p> <p>1-2: Pink and green and grey. &nbsp;I like the color palette here. &nbsp;The blush sneakers (new this summer) feature in a lot of these summer outfits - they're pretty ubiquitous around Boston this summer, to be honest, but I like them despite their unoriginality, lol.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;<br />3: FFBO, culottes and patterned tee.</p> <p>4: another FFBO, blush as a neutral</p> <p>5: neutral but high contrast pattern mixing.</p> <p>6: new Olivia Burton watch I got at NAS. &nbsp;I wanted a big watch and have been wearing it a lot. &nbsp;</p> <p>7: casual teal and blush</p> <p>8-9: trying to mix things up a bit with lightweight layering. &nbsp;I popped a sheer blouse with balloon sleeves under my avant-garde Allsaints sack dress and added my gladiators. &nbsp;Also got a long-overdue haircut!</p> <p>10-11: posted these already<a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-2-denim-skirt-outfits-including-todays-ensemble-sort-of"> here</a> - two outfits with my black denim skirt.</p> <p>12: casual outfit of shorts with a loose long-sleeved blouse. &nbsp;I like this combo (shorts with long sleeves) and should wear it more often! &nbsp;</p> <p>13: handknit silk tank, silver skirt, and gladiators</p> <p>14: Liberty dress with sneakers</p> <p>15-16: a rare, cool, rainy day, so some more substantial layering. &nbsp;The mesh sweater is handknit.</p> <p>17-18: long drapey layers. &nbsp;Jersey trumpet midi, long vest, and embroidered top, plus my lightweight printed bomber for indoor AC. &nbsp;</p> <p>19: dress + cardigan, a FFBO. </p>
