I also like the brown sandals - it's a nice neutral with the colors. I'm going to look into that.</p> <p>Deborah - yes, this denim is a fair bit dressier fabrication which allows me to wear it to work, even on non denim days. I know the sandals aren't the best choice here because of the dark brown but it was one of those choices that had to be based on comfort rather than style, you know?</p> <p>Ramya - I did try the blouse tucked but preferred it loose and breezy today. Is it a slightly dressier fabrication than the average denim skirt? I really like it. This is simple and you do look cool (temperature wise). The colors in the blouse are lovely on you and great with the denim. Initially I was questioning the color of the sandals but on second look they really do act as a neutral and I think they work. Stay cool! I started the day with this breezy blouse and paired it with my denim skirt. I then added my green handbag, turquoise/gold bracelet and my trusty Clark brown sandals as accessories. I have a huge blister on my left foot from running on Saturday when it was very hot so these sandals are the only ones today that aren't rubbing that blister. I guess today's outfit is really all about comfort!</p> <p>Does this work? How are the proportions?
