I tend to think of olive as a neutral similar to khaki. </p> <p>I altered a pair of jeans I got from the thrift store into skinnies and it worked well. I sewed the sides and then tried them on and made modifications before actually cutting off the extra material. I'm surprised that they fit me this well - I don't think I've lost weight, but I was quite convinced that they were too small until I tried them on for alterations a couple of days ago, and found that they didn't really need any.
