As usual, I keep things simple and classic.</p> <p>On New Year's Eve (so before the beginning of our January SYC challenge) I did a little shopping and picked up two pieces pictured in Finds below: an oversized striped cotton sweater and a printed scarf, both in organic cotton. They were perfect for the weather and got a lot of wear right away.</p> <p>#1: Dressing for a day in Madrid. All black with a pop of white in the shoes.<br />#2 and 3: Heading to the train to the south: keeping it simple in stripes and wearing glasses. I wore this trench as a topper almost every day.<br />#4:&nbsp;Worn on a long day out and about: this little jacket worked really well, though I switched to booties later.<br />#5: New scarf in action.</p> <p>I feel like the jeans in #4+5&nbsp;are looking a little baggy in the knee and need to be retired soon.
