So fun, and you could pair them with a bright long-sleeved shirt, too. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-transitional-autumn-looks#post-1919363 Tue, 15 May 2018 01:37:17 +0000 Sal 1919363@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Hi All,</p> <p>Well Autumn is almost over here (officially it ends at the end of May) but it has been mild.&nbsp; I have worn a coat once or twice, but am yet to wear a puffer jacket at all.&nbsp; It is easy to dress in this sort of weather as almost anything can work.&nbsp; Here are some recent looks.</p> <p>1) Flares and a floral blouse worn to work.&nbsp; The blouse and jeans are from last year, the boots are six seasons old now but still going strong.</p> <p>2)&nbsp; I said I was not going to wear lilac.......&nbsp; Here I am in a lilac scarf.&nbsp; Never say never!!&nbsp; I found this scarf in a charity shop for $8 and thought it was a fun way to nod to the trend.&nbsp; Worn with navy and denim in a fairly easy work from home look.&nbsp; I have also worn the scarf with a cream wool coat which I really liked.</p> <p>3) Off to the movies.&nbsp; I have been on a bit of a movie binge over the last two months.&nbsp; Two French films (The Guardians, Jalouse), Death to Stalin, Avengers Infinity War, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and Peter Rabbit.&nbsp; (Plus on Netflix Whiplash and Pitch Perfect (don't know how I missed that one)).&nbsp; This was on Sunday on an extended family outing to a boutique local cinema.&nbsp; I hadn't tried this floral blouse with the leather jacket but I felt like it worked.</p> <p>4)&nbsp; Off to see one of our work suppliers to try and get better service!!&nbsp; I honestly got ready here in less than 5 minutes due to a parental crisis and realised after seeing the pics that the colours are not great - I don't like the boots and the scarf together.&nbsp; And the crazy expression.&nbsp; Next time I will wear a lighter scarf with these boots.</p> <p>5-6) Channelling&nbsp; Brooklyn with her Dark Romance - a lite version.&nbsp; All existing pieces from last year and earlier.&nbsp; To me the pendant, fitted jacket, boots and floral skirt fit in with the concept.</p> <p>7) Last week I went to Waiheke Island for a 10km run with friends. I went for an ocean swim (weather was mild but overcast). Everyone else thought I was crazy.</p> <p></p> <p>8) Trying flats with the crazy culottes.&nbsp; Third wear of the culottes.&nbsp; I love them but it will be hard to get to 30 wears.&nbsp; I am wearing them about once every second week.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p>Your thoughts and comments are always welcome. </p>
