But the detail on this sweater was love at first sight when I bought it, and I finally wore it last night hanging out with friends in a casual setting. The weather was gross and my normally patient DH was too hungry to wait for me to fully 'glam up'. Since lame weather makes me want to curl in a hoodie more than anything else, I opted for my comfy spiked sweater instead..</p> <p>...and felt like some sort of Joan of Arc reincarnation! The sweater looks purple in the photo, but its actually an awesome shade of blue. The gunmetal spikes are SO cool, and made me feel like a million bucks on a night I would have otherwise been stressed about my flat hair and lack of primping time. </p> <p>I paired it with dark skinnies and black moto boots, and wore a black long sleeve tee underneath since it has short sleeves and felt it added something to its overall appeal. </p> <p>Rain or shine, I was ready for battle! Sometimes its the small details that make the WHOLE look work. As always, comments and suggestions are welcome! </p>
