Get a straight one, rather than the kind that tapers back down towards the knees and you should be golden for SAHM stuff. I have been trying to overcome my belt phobia but have abandoned them after an hour or two for the past 2 days (and quietly stuffed them in my desk drawer). I've come to the conclusion that the only way to get better at knowing when a belt works is to force myself to experiment with them, even when those experiments don't work. I have a slight apple tendency, and I don't belt very often. They either look odd, move around, or get uncomfortable.<br /> I think the proportions of the outfit are what's off. The skirt is a bit long, and the top is too long for a skirt.
