They were quite expensive, but they are fantastic. I'm wearing them right now and we have a lot of snow (the first time this year) and my feet were warm, dry and comfortable on my way to work. The soles have good grip too. I first tried to go with more blue on top (to go with the blue stripes in the skirt), but something was off with those combinations. I finally decided to go with 'warmer' colors and I like the result much better. The greens are definitely on the warmer end of neutral and I think they work better with the skirt colors. I really like the proportions of this one. And I have to say it again - I love my boots! They are just awesome. It's gotten quite cold, but with the wool skirt, wool sweater and warm boots and coat I felt very cozy this morning. </p>
