Elizabeth P, yes, yes! I do welcome and appreciate feedback, so please continue to offer any observations or advice. Feedback and reflection are crucial to the learning process. The scarf is big. After seeing the picture I took it off to adjust it so it didn’t look quite as boxy down the front, but it is a big scarf. I do tend to wear larger scarves this time of year, for extra warmth. I am petite, so proportions of large scarves may be off. Sometimes how I tie a scarf can make a difference and prevent me from looking like I am being swallowed up.
My sister and I are identical twins and she began her transition to gray hair about 2 months before I did. She has more white than I do and I notice that there are times when she appears almost colorless. She and I are both trying to identify when/ how that happens and avoid it.
My day went well, despite the surprise of being interviewed and filmed. It threw me at first, but I decided to roll with it and not take myself too seriously. It is a student project after all and not a red carpet event. It was more important to be well spoken than to be camera ready.....at least that is what I told myself.
Thank you Celia, Sterling and Katerina. Most of my jewelry has a story and a link to loved ones. I cherish the warm thoughts and memories wearing pieces give me.

What a pretty outfit! The scarf is wonderful on you and the bracelets are lovely. You look very chic! And I agree, wearing something from a person who loves you is such a joy.

You look FABULOUS!!!!!! It so fun to see everyone's outfits.

Some days definitely require more courage than others. You sound completely up to the task and ready to take on the World. I especially love the bracelet link to your Sister. Sometimes I gain strength by looking down at jewelry given to me by someone that loves me.

Just curious - if your sister is an identical twin, is she also transitioning her hair?

What fabulous bracelets. Made more fab by the back story.

I like this outfit, but to be honest I find the scarf a bit overwhelming. At least, how it is sitting in this photo. Hmm, I just realized that you didn't ask for feedback, so I'm not sure if I should post that comment or delete it... I'll go with post, and please let me know if I was in appropriate!

I hope your day went well, not sure how I'd react to unexpected filming!!

Thank you, Angie. The scarf has quickly become a favorite of mine and looks excellent with the BR sweater dress you posted a while back.
As kids, my sister and I were not fond of being dressed alike and in later years, if we came downstairs dressed in something similar one of us would go back upstairs to change. Now, when we have an opportunity to go shopping together we always buy matching, or coordinating items. Yes, fab, fun and meaningful.

(Now the pic is the right size - good job).

That scarf is gorgeous with your hair Mainelady, and the bracelet is a wonderfully unique piece. I enjoyed hearing that you enjoy a connection with your twin sister. Fab, fun and meaningful. Outfits that are sentimental is some way make us happy.

Today was all about gray and gold.....just like my current hair. Our schedule was loaded with transitions and travel through the buildings. I knew I would need happy feet, so I chose my footwear and built my wardrobe from the ground up.
Super comfy DV8 charcoal suede booties. Cute with double zippers, which don’t show in the pics, but make me happy.
Charcoal J Jill corduroys
Gold Loft sweater
Plaid scarf
Gray and gold bracelets

Today’s out fit was a hat trick with 3 happy elements:
comfort
plaid scarf which added color, interest and extra warmth
Gray and gold bracelets. I found the story teller bracelet while shopping for antiques with my sister and the two tone cuff and beaded bracelet were gifts from her.

Spoiler alert - My sister is also my twin and wearing a connection to her always makes me happy. A nod to my sister will likely be one of my happiness factors.

I hadn’t really studied how the colors work with my hair yet, but I headed out the door confident and ready to take on the day. That was a good thing, because when I arrived at work I was told I would have sub coverage for 20 minutes. It is Music Fest week and we have several local artists visiting and holding workshops with our students. One group of 7th and 8th graders is working with a film maker and doing a behind the scenes documentary of a musical we are producing with grades K-4. They wanted to interview me. What? Surprise! I guess I’ll have a chance to see how the colors look when the film is showed at a school assembly. Good lord. Some days require more courage than others.
