Not the best plan, since I had a lot of work to do.</p> <p>I usually go for loose jeans and a simple tee and slip-on shoes, ideally. Except I like looking awesome when I'm at nice stores, so sometimes I make the mistake of wearing a silk button-down or a sweater that messes up my hair every time I take it off or shoes that lace up to mid-calf. I didn't show it with my usual solution ("fake french cuff") but it looks much trimmer buttoned like that. But maybe not enough. I bought it, but it's not a definite keeper. I do actually have a hard time finding women's boyfriend-style shirts, so this one has a lot of appeal. I have some very nice J Crew women's shirts, but they are more tailored.</p> <p>CocoLion, thanks! I have the same problem with some men's shirts fitting over my hips, but this one isn't a slim cut, which probably makes the difference.</p> <p>It rained here for about five minutes, too. (Or you could look into having this shirt tailored). It's a Theory men's shirt, size XS. I've really been liking the oversized white shirt look recently, but none of my shirts get the right stolen-from-my-guy look. When I tried this on, I realized maybe the key is to actually wear a men's shirt. What do you think? I love the fit aside from the sleeve length but I might be nuts. </p> <p>Today's outfit is a FFBO that may have appeared here before: a mesh Club Monaco sweater, these oversized Zara jeans, and my Allsaints ankle boots. I'm glad it's chilly enough for long sleeves for once. </p>
