I have been using aloe vera on them. I just hope there’s no scarring. It’s not something I do regularly, but as I am coming into menopause I have a lot more facial hair, and with my eyesight getting worse and mobility issues I am less able to take care of those things myself. Don't get me wrong, the end result is gorgeous - but I can barely get *one* lipstick to stay on my lips all day, let alone 3! It makes sense though to try &amp; create the most flattering shade by mixing others (I always get frustrated that the undertones &amp; finish aren't *quite* right in my lipsticks, lol...) </p> <p>I'm so sorry to hear about your eyelids - I'm scared to try facial waxing for exactly this reason! On my lips I used Rimmel Exagerate in 68 to line (mauve pink), NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Berlin) dark rose brown, with a top coat of Thrive Causmetics Glossy Lip Hydrating Serum in Glinda. The NYX was a little too matte for me, and the Thrive has the added benefit of being plumping so it worked really well. I went with a smoky eye because the day before the party I had my brows waxed, and my eyelids were burnt really badly and were still very red.
