We attended a Unitarian church for a while that had the best music, and really encouraged its talented members to participate and perform regularly.&nbsp;</p> <p>My 89 year old Dad is a huge fan of/participant in the Osher Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He has regularly taken classes for many years, and he even taught a few. It's such an awesome program. I'm encouraging my now-eligible husband to get involved here through the Johns Hopkins program in Maryland.<br />I love Kauai, and bought ukuleles there for my sons and my Dad a couple of years ago. I attend a Saturday morning yoga class that ends with us singing a mantra to the uke during meditation. I started lessons in January. I was helped along by having taken numerous sessions of guitar lessons.
