Simple and elegant with a little bit of sparkle. I think the pants look great. For myself, I do like to try the longer lengths too for comparison. We went to our son's high school concert. It is not the symphony hall kind and audience mostly parents and siblings dress very casual. I wanted to dress a little more than casual after all the kids are in tux and long gowns. I am not sure about the length of theses ponte pants. They are petite and I am only 5'2".
