I come from more of a Latin dance background so I am not an expert on ballroom but if the outfits are similar, most would want a loose skirt to show off the footwork plus a shorter skirt, once again to show off the footwork. I was asked to do an east coast swing exhibition dance. I hadn't planned on performing for the audience but thankfully swing is one of my 'signature' dances. So my nerves didn't overcome me when I got the spur of moment request. </p> <p>My teacher and&nbsp; dance partner my dress would be great to wear for a Jailhouse themed tango.
