I have blisters ringing both thumbs and the little muscles across my palms between my metacarpals and base of thumbs feel strained, but it was still fun. My shoulder and upper back feel sore too but in a good I-did-heavy-work-for-a-day way. I was joking with my colleague yesterday that I should market the Archaeologist Fitness program. It involves digging a hole, hoisting buckets full of dirt to be screened, screening all the dirt, squatting and getting up about a million times, and then shovelling all that dirt back into the hole.
