I prefer low contrast, so you’d think some sort of pastel top would be a good choice, but then I feel like an Easter egg. But as with most of my jeans, there are some things that go together and some that don’t. It has to do with the color wash, shape, length, relative proportions to the top and shoes, and/or other characteristics of both bottoms and tops. I’m not sure I have one pair of jeans that would go with every top I own.<div><br /></div><div>I do feel a pair of black denims is more challenging than these, with fewer top choices in my wardrobe. Yes, I think it’s chartreuse, and maybe acid but not a very sour or sharp acid. Such nuances when it comes to color descriptions, right? I had a citron cardigan for years, which had quite a bit more yellow in it, but similar and I’d looked to replace it for a long time.</p> <p>This is the type of slouchy sweater I love, someone was asking about slouch qualities recently, and I’m afraid I can’t remember who. I chose to wear a snowflake pin I got from Etsy. I’m not sure of the vintage but I like the weight and metal finish.</p> <p>Weather is getting colder so I will be able to wear another couple of newer/rarely worn sweaters.
