How delightful! Moonstruck is one of my favorite films, too. My Siberian Husky's name is Winter, as named by the shelter we adopted him from. That was the name of his predecessor, my Great Pyrenees who was the Empress of Everything, so it seemed like fate that we should both take him and keep the name. It goes like this:</p> <p>As a pup, he was listed as silver and white (his fur now looks more beige than silver). One of my favorite movies is "Moonstruck" and in the movie reference is made to "Cosmo's moon." Well, the moon is silver, so...hence the first name, "Cosmo." As for his middle name, DH's cousin always gives dogs middle names. She came over for a cookout, picked up Cosmo and declared, "His middle name should be Edward." Well, as young pups are, he was quite devilish, and every time he would get into something he shouldn't I would call him by both names, much as mothers do when reprimanding their children.
