Love the blues & greys together. The proportions look fine to my eye and the waterfall cardi & leapard print top look great.

Thank-you all for the feedback!
cjh, the top is fine untucked but I wanted to try something different, and to add a belt.
Kari- a comparison to Karen is a HUGE boost, thank-you
Deb, I am glad you like the shoes. D.D. wasn't so sure but I thought they had potential. Yes, they appear to be fairly new and are leather. Brand is 'nine-west'. (I have no. more. room. in my closet for shoes, but they are going to live under my wrought-iron mannikin as part of a kind of display thingee !)

Lyn I think the proportions on this are great. Agreed that wearing something over the tucked in top (like the waterfall cardigan) is perfect. Or perhaps you could try a semi tuck? These colors are totally gorgeous on you. And those shoes!!! They are one gloroius pair of heeled loafers, I really like the cute toggle. They look as new. Great score... funny how we aussies (on the forum) now say 'thifting' & "thrift store" my friends here didn't know what I was talking about to begin with. I feel a little like I am now bilingual! Even my spelling on the forum reflects the US way but in fact I am meticulous about correct English based spelling... woops off on a tangent! You look great in this

I agree with Kari, I think the longer, flyaway cardigan make the proportions look good. I love the greys and blues on you. Fabulous outfit!

I hope that no one stepped on your blue suede shoes! ;)

I really like how the soft gray/blues bring out your eyes. The lovely coloring of your eyes and complexion reminds me of Angie's client Karen.

Personally, I think that if you're wearing a top tucked into these jeans with an over-layer like this long cardigan or a jacket, it would be fine. The proportions might look a little funny if you were to wear a top tucked in without a top layer, though - it could potentially make your torso look disproportionately long.

This is a great combination - love the gray and burgundy, low contrast and snuggly look (even though I am going for as little clothing as possible here), and I LOVE the shoes! What does this look like if you don't tuck the shirt in? You could still use the belt either over the top or even the sweater.

Hi Ladies, I have enjoyed reading all about the Big Sale and seeing your purchases.
In Australia we have also had Winter and End of Financial Year Sales, and of course I bought a few things at the reduced prices.
This is mainly old stuff though, except for the belt and shoes. The shoes were purchased over the weekend from the Thrift shop I volunteer at- saw them on Friday and popped back to try. I also spotted a D&G bag that turned out to be a fake!
I added a croc. textured burgundy scarf when I left home for extra warmth.
D.H. commented that the jeans are 'Very high-waisted'. What do you think about the proportions?
Thanks for looking and commenting, and have a FAB Monday.
