We have a great consignment shop that is generally standard fare: JCrew, Theory, Eileen Fisher, lots of denim, Free people, etc. but fairly often there will be things like Gucci sneakers or a Celine bag or an LV wallet, etc. I got a dream pair of black chelsea boots from a British shoemaker there last fall; they were a big risk - bought from her IG account without trying on! But I knew that if they didn't work she would resell them for me. I am less likely to pull the trigger on clothing via IG unless I am absolutely sure of the fit. I've been burned. But it's great for accessories.&nbsp;This spring I saw her post this little Hermes scarf for $100 and I jumped on it. It's ridiculous how perfect the color scheme is for me (a rosy red with lime green and blue/green accents, great with black, brown, denim) and it ties extremely well (around neck, around wrist, or on the handle of my purse). I want to get rid of all my other little scarves now.&nbsp;</p> <p>The little boutique where I found the dress is a brand new shop in the town where I used to live in Maine. I am wearing the Mr Jagger in 39, my regular size. They are fairly stiff but comfortable and well made. At one point I tried the Mr Dean (a monkstrap shoe) and it was too narrow for me. I think it depends on which last is being used. Their customer service is good if you have questions about fit.</p> <p><b>Sloper</b>: yes, the dress is a diaphanous cotton - has a gorgeous drape and does not show wrinkles (because of the pattern).
