It actually isn’t bad considering the low humidity. This concert was part of it, as were the concerts we went to last year, Randy Newman and the blue grass band, the Steel Drivers. He is an extreme virtuoso, and also fun to watch and hear. His encore was Bohemian Rhapsody!</p> <p>WIW: I’m sorry I’m kind of ratty looking in this picture. I took it after we got home. I had bought the wild pants, thinking of this upcoming concert. However, we’re in our second week of a vicious heat wave, and I could couldn’t bring myself to wear them. So I wore these Lee cotton crops, sleeveless Eddie Bauer top, and Bernardo sandals. It got to 104 yesterday, and was still in the upper 90s when the concert started. This heat wave apparently has no end. Today should be cooler, only 97. </p>
