I have loved this shade of orange since high school. I have/had lipstick and nail polish in this color. I remember being sad when I could no longer wear an orange silk camp shirt I had in the same color (it fell apart from so much love). </p> <p>Elly - I love your medium gray suggestion. I really fell for brights/neons + neutrals. I am already working through gray articles of clothing in my mind. </p> <p>Suz- The weather was absolutely perfect. The reception was outdoors (under the stars)on the lawn of a 19th century mansion. There was no wind, there was a perfect level of humidity and the temperature could not have been better. I've never been to an arts &amp; crafts/ art nouveau themed wedding -- it was perfect for fall. </p> <p>jackiec - I cannot take credit for coming up with a "new" way to wear a rope of pearls. I love the navy suggestion, but then I've never said no to blue. </p> <p>Greycat6 - I love the pink suggestion. I was actually considering a very pale pink -- almost neutral. But a fuchsia shade of pink with this orange would work as well -- it would be very mod. </p> <p>Runcarla - Purple is a fabulous choice. Depending on the intensity of the shade, purple could take this outfit in many different directions. I'll have to play around with purple accessories. </p>
