Yes, JamC, it was a fantastic exhibition and I highly recommend going to see it if it comes near you. </p> <p>I’ve had those white fur lined sneakers for a few years and they never got much wear - until this winter. I’ve been wearing them a lot, and I’m very glad the red dye came out.</p> <p>Angie, those pearls are many years old - I first saw them here on YLF and went out and bought them. When they saw me they said, “You’re dressed like Barbie!” HA! I don’t think so, but I did my best.<br /> As a child I had a lot of Barbies, and my mother sewed so I had shoeboxes full of clothes for them. I wish I still had them!</p> <p>Pic 3 getting into the Barbie car.<br /> Pic 4 fun socks that fit the decades vibe of the day.</p> <p>Pics 5,6 so the red jeans bled on my white sneakers! Dye did not get on my top, so it happened from the wet snow outside. I used vinegar to get it off the sides of the sneakers but that did nothing for the fabric and fur parts, so I soaked them in laundry soap and OxiClean, which worked beautifully.</p> <p>BR sweater, Nordstrom jeans, both new last fall, old JCrew pile of pearls, old JCrew coat.</p> <p>I included some museum pics of Barbies through the decades in their fashionable outfits.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! </p>
