So, here's how I wore them today. I tried to balance the red booties with a handmade, red glass pendant and red watch.</p> <p>My style goal for this year is to fine tune my style persona. I find that some of my outfits are "well, this goes with this, OK, I'll wear it," and it might look OK, or have good elements, but it's not really "me." Well, today I felt very much like "me." A little bit traditional, a little bit fun &amp; funky. </p> <p>As for the weird look on my face in the second pic, I had dental surgery yesterday and my cheek is still swollen - I have stitches in my gum and told my students they couldn't make me laugh today, so of course that was all they wanted to do :)</p> <p>And the animals currently outnumber the humans in my house, as in addition to our dog and cat, DH and I are dog sitting for my mother-in-law's two dogs. Three canines + one cat = chaos!</p> <p>Pic 1 - The booties are not shiny, it just looks that way in the photo</p> <p>I included pic 2 to show the chaotic mess that my house has now become.</p> <p>Pic 3 - The canines are plotting - but is it against me or the cat? </p>
