I was off work today (and until Thursday) and basically sat in my backyard all day </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-this-week---neutral-bright-and-a-nod-to-suz#post-1321181 Fri, 01 Aug 2014 23:19:50 +0000 cheryle (Dianthus) 1321181@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I managed to take pics every day this week. &nbsp;It was quite warm this week and our office is quite chilly with the exception of my office. &nbsp;I have windows facing south and west and it gets very hot especially when the door is closed and I spend a fair bit of time on conference calls with the door closed.</p> <p>Some of the outfits worked and some I am not sure about. &nbsp;</p> <p>1. &nbsp;I bought the animal print VC tube. &nbsp;My other two (B&amp;W striped and black ruched) are PM and this is a medium. &nbsp;It feels looser in the waist and snugger in the hips but with the longer top, I think it works. &nbsp;I wasn't sure about the magenta color with it though since the background is a bit of a golden beige. &nbsp;The shoes I found in my closet from last year and still like them. &nbsp;I was concerned about the heel height (close to 3") but put foot petals in and the extra cushion made a world of difference. &nbsp;</p> <p>2. &nbsp;This is one of the dresses I picked up in early June. &nbsp;I showed three of the others already. &nbsp;I love the colors but wonder if it is a bit frumpy. &nbsp;I wore the clark shoes with it. &nbsp; &nbsp;Maybe that added to the frump. &nbsp;Not sure...</p> <p>3. &nbsp;The black/white slim pants, deep teal tank and softer teal top from Nordstrom. &nbsp;I wore my sperry angelfish for comfort. &nbsp;These sperrys have a gold dust finish on the tops.</p> <p>4. &nbsp;This is the black ruched VC skirt and a white layered top I bought in spring in Fredericton. &nbsp;I wore another pair of shoes that I found in the closet. &nbsp;I should have looked in the shoe boxes sooner since I forgot I had a few pairs up there. &nbsp;I think this one worked but perhaps I need to start adding accessories again. &nbsp;I haven't for ages but think this outfit might have been better with a nice watch and/or earrings.</p> <p>5. &nbsp;This is my nod to Suz. &nbsp;I saw these jcrew pants on her WIW a few weeks ago and ordered them along with the white linen v-neck. &nbsp;I semi-tucked because it felt a bit too volume on volume for me untucked. &nbsp;I rolled the pants too but started with one roll, then two, then three. &nbsp;Not sure if I went overboard or not. &nbsp;The sperry's again.</p> <p>Well that is my week in review. &nbsp;I would love to hear feedback or suggestions for improvements. &nbsp;Thanks everyone. </p>
