Little did I know, when I paired them with other pieces, where the day - and the culottes - would take me...</p> <p>Pic 1:&nbsp;Outfit base:<br />Club Monaco burgundy culottes<br />(nude hose)<br />France Mode black glove flat knee high&nbsp;boots<br />Nygard charcoal turtleneck<br />Jewelry from a street merchant in Paris circa 2006 (enamels)</p> <p>Pic 2: Topper attempt number one:<br />With a Simon Chang "à la Sveta" (but far from as elegant)&nbsp;long grey sleeveless cardigan.</p> <p>Pic 3: Topper attempt number two:<br />With my Club Monaco black moto</p> <p>Pics 4-5: Topper final pic:<br />I conservatively chose this soft 3/4&nbsp;charcoal&nbsp;sleeves jacket (bought at Winners a few years ago).</p> <p>Today looking at the pics I think the moto looks best.&nbsp;<br />I realize I look very tired in these shots, which I was.</p> <p>I wore this to class, (at a different school where I am subbing, for those who know about my recent upheavals). I felt like "Candy-Candy" because of the combination tall hugging boots - A-line skirt-like culottes ;)</p> <p>A co-worker (administration), a good looking intelligent guy at that,&nbsp;who impresses me, and&nbsp;who has been "prowling"&nbsp;around my office, stayed along to chat, when I came back from my class he was still there, we ended up going out to eat together, chatted for a long time in the parking lot&nbsp;and - it happened so quickly - he kissed me. </p> <p>I am just stunned.&nbsp;<br />This morning I haven't had much time to really think about all the implications and ramifications of this... all I know is that I have the culotte to thank - or hold responsible! &nbsp;I tell you, life sometimes is like&nbsp;a novel.&nbsp;</p> </p>
