I love the colours in the first outfit too. Can the skirt handle a full tuck? Might be worth a try...
And if I may say so, cute butt jeans!

I love the colours of the first outfit on you - have you tried belting over the knit to shorten it a little? I'm on the fence about the shirt but if it's comfy & you feel great in it then don't listen to me.

Both cute outfits! I think the second blouse with the bigger arms looks on trend. Love your boots/shoes in the first outfit, I usually hate flats with skirts but the footwear looks so cool here.

I do like the shirt, and maybe love it. It was on the "out" pile because the shoulders are just a tad wide, and the body is similarly a tad wide. But with it wrapped like this, it seems like it minimizes the shoulder fit issue, and the wideness in the body makes it possible to wrap. I love the print (probably because it's more trendy than most of my clothes - I doubt it'll have lots of longevity).

So it'll at least go in the probationary 'keep' pile, and we'll see if it gets more wear

Sleeves can be made not baggy with a good roll up the forearm.

I agree with Sara if you don't now "love" this shirt, restyling the it isn't going to help because it will still sit lonely and orphaned in your closet.

Without analysing anything my immediate first impressions were - love the jeans & shirt. Skirt is good, loose fit jersey colour is good but not keen on fit.

Thanks DV and Sara! I do like the shirt, but I'm not sure if black/white are really that great of colors on me. I think the navy T under it softens it in to 'wearable'. So it might be earning a spot after all. Do you think the sleeves are too baggy?

Camera angles can definitely do odd things to proportions. I have the same problem since my husband takes most of my pictures and he's quite a bit taller than me. I like the idea of wrapping the shirt and it looks great, however, do you like the shirt better now? It seems like a lot of work to make the shirt wearable unless you really like the print.

I love the color combo in 1 & 2 especially with the necklace. I really like the shape of the dalmatian shirt -- the "v" and the collar -- its very flattering. I see what you mean about highlighting your waist. I I don't see thick as much as I see long. but I think that's your low-rise jeans. I would try a higher rise pant or that lovely skirt you have on in 1& 2 before you completely give up.

Continuing on my closet-purge journey, so if you don't mind letting me know if these items are keepers or not, I'd appreciate it :)

#1-2 I had hoped to wear a teal button-down shirt, but discovered that it doesn't fit. So I switched for a loose-fit maybe chunky(?) sweater. I faux half-tucked into a belt, but it barely showed. From the back, it makes me look over-the-top IT, but I'm not sure if it's just the kid-shot camera angle.

#3-4 Inspired by Dey Vies ( http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ood-as-new ) and RoseAndJoan ( http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....t-look-yet ), I decided to try out a slightly-too-big button-down shirt in a dalmation print, and wrap the front. Instead of just twist it, I only buttoned one button, then criss-crossed the two sides, and tucked them in so that they would stay wrapped. I think it sort of works, but highlights my thick waist (especially from the back). I'm not sure if it brings this shirt out of the 'ditch' into the 'keep' status. What do you think?

Suggestions for improvement or different styling are super welcome. Thank you all!
